Growing plants
The vast majority of the herbs in our formulas come from gardens tended by Rose Core and allies, or abundant wild places that we consciously steward, primarily within the unceded territories of the Abenaki. Some herbs we are unable to grow locally and so source from larger distributors that we trust.
Making formulas
We craft formulas with intention to provide safe, broad support to the many people who use our tinctures. There is a lot of care, love and magic that goes in to each batch of tincture.
Distributing herbs
Sent across the country or changing hands in person, the herbs find homes with individuals and organizations who are mobilizing for justice and resilience in their communities. Our goal is to tend to deep and lasting relationships with people and the plants.
As of December 2023, we have blended and distributed over 6,979 ounces/55 gallons of tincture. Our medicine is always free, but for context that is over $69,790 worth of medicine. And gallons of tea!
